Privacy Policy for tse.net

  • Introduction –

At tse.net we value the privacy of our visitors, customers and clients. This revised privacy policy is effective May 20, 2015 and summarizes what information we might collect from a registered user, other visitors, and what we will and will not do with the information.

Please note that this privacy policy does not govern the collection and use of information by companies that tse.net does not control, nor by individuals not contracted by or managed by tse.net. If you visit a Web site that we mention or link to, be sure to review that website’s privacy policy before providing that site with information.

  • What we do with your personally identifiable information –

It is always up to you whether to disclose personally identifiable information to tse.net. If you elect not to do so, we reserve the right not to register you as a user or provide you with any products or services.

“Personally identifiable information” means information that can be used to identify you as an individual, such as, for example:

Your name, company, email address, phone number, billing address, and shipping address

Your tse.net user ID and password (if applicable)

Any account-preference information you provide us

Your computer’s domain name and IP address, indicating where your computer is located on the Internet

Session data for your login session, so that our computer can ‘talk’ to your computer while you are logged in

  • Protecting your personal payment information is a serious matter to us at tse.net –

We are security experts. Our directors are professional Computer Scientists and System Engineers.

The safest way for us to protect you from identity theft and theft of your banking information is to never keep it on our servers or in our office. While we provide fantastic IT services and media design, we leave payment security with those who specialize in payment security – such as Paypal.

We do not accept payments over the telephone or other forms of communication other than our secure payment system.

While internet payment security is among the most secure process when done correctly as we implement – it is amazing for us when we observe people who have a fear of doing any Internet purchasing, yet they seem fine with letting a waiter at a local restaurant take their credit card and disappear from sight. Think about that!

We have always chosen not to offer “one click payments” as this requires keeping your card information on hand. Payment processors are best to keep your payment information safe. We utilize secure encrypted connections to communicate with the payment processors.

We have 20 years experience of Internet and many more years of network security experience. We are not paranoid – we are smart with how we implement security. The best way is to never operate in a way that could possibly compromise security. While we practice what we preach, we understand that there are bad people out there. Our perfect record of never having a breech of security speaks for itself. However, we never allow ourselves to become complacent.

Credit card information and other payment information is handled by the payment processors we utilize. We have always had the policy to not keep any payment information on our systems, in our office or any other location under our control in either digital or physical form.

Because we operate our own e-commerce systems, we treat the security of your e-commerce as if it was our own.

For recurring payments when applicable, these are handled by the payment processors we utilize.

When a payment is made, the only information we use is what is necessary to deliver the products that were purchased.

If you do provide personally identifiable information to us, either directly or through a reseller or other business partner, we will:

    Not sell or rent it to a third party without your permission. Unless you opt out (see below), we may use your contact information to provide you with information we believe you need to know or may find useful, such as (for example) news about our services and products and modifications to the Terms of Service; take commercially reasonable precautions to protect the information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction;

Not use or disclose the information except:

As necessary to provide services or products you have ordered, such as (for example) by providing it to a carrier to deliver products you have ordered; in other ways described in this privacy policy or to which you have otherwise consented; in the aggregate with other information in such a way so that your identity cannot reasonably be determined (for example, statistical compilations); as required by law, for example, in response to a subpoena or search warrant; to outside auditors who have agreed to keep the information confidential; to a successor organization in the event of a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, or other sale or disposition of all or a portion of tse.net’s assets. The successor organization’s use and disclosure of your personally-identifiable information will continue to be subject to this privacy policy unless (i) a court orders otherwise, for example a bankruptcy court; or (ii) the successor organization gives you notice that your personally-identifiable information will be subject to the successor organization’s own privacy policy, along with an opportunity for you to opt out (which may cause you not to be able to continue to use a website, software or media product). If you submit personally-identifiable information after such a transfer, that information may be subject to the successor entity’s privacy policy; as necessary to enforce the Terms of Service; as necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of tse.net, its users, or others; this may include (for example) exchanging information with other organizations for fraud protection and/or risk reduction.

    Other information we collect:

We may collect other information that cannot be readily used to identify you, such as (for example) the domain name and IP address of your computer. We may use this information, individually or in the aggregate, for technical administration of our Website(s); research and development; customer- and account administration; and to help us focus our marketing efforts more precisely.
